    Niobium bar

    Niobium Bar Description

    Features:
Niobium bars offer excellent high-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, and strong mechanical stability, making them suitable for demanding industrial and engineering applications. With good ductility and machinability, niobium bars can be precisely processed into complex components. Their resistance to chemical attack and oxidation ensures reliable performance in extreme environments, especially under high heat and vacuum conditions.

    Applications:
Niobium bars are widely used in industries such as:

    • Industrial: Used in high-performance machinery and equipment requiring strength and durability under extreme conditions.
    • Aerospace: Applied in high-temperature structural components and advanced alloy systems.
    • Electronics: Suitable for superconducting materials, capacitors, and specialized electronic components.
    • Chemical Processing: Ideal for corrosion-resistant equipment, reactors, and components exposed to aggressive media.

Miji Magnesium provides a variety of niobium bars in different grades and specifications, and we can also custom-produce niobium alloy products according to your requirements. For inquiries, please contact: sales@mijimg.com.

    FAQ

Q: What purity levels and grades are available for your niobium bars and rods?
A: We supply high-purity commercial niobium bars (99.9% / 3N) as well as high-RRR (Residual Resistivity Ratio) 99.95%+ niobium rods for superconducting applications. We also manufacture niobium alloy bars such as Nb-1Zr and C103 (Nb-10Hf-1Ti).
Q: What diameter ranges and surface finishes do you supply for niobium bars?
A: Our niobium bars range in diameter from 3.0 mm up to 150 mm. Available surface finishes include black forged, centerless ground, peeled, and polished surfaces with tight ISO diameter tolerances (h8/h9) for precision turning.
Q: How do niobium bars perform in high-temperature and highly corrosive environments?
A: Niobium bars maintain excellent structural stability and high creep strength in vacuum or inert atmospheres at temperatures up to 1200°C. They also demonstrate superior resistance to aggressive mineral acids and molten liquid metals.
Q: Are your niobium rods suitable for CNC machining, and do you provide material test reports?
A: Yes, our niobium rods feature fine grain structures and uniform density, ensuring excellent machinability for CNC milling and turning. Every shipment comes complete with EN 10204 3.1 Material Test Reports certifying chemical analysis and mechanical properties.
